Dushyant, 4 others file nomination papers for LS polls

Five candidates, including Dushyant Chautala, son of INLD leader Ajay Chautala, filed their nomination papers in Haryana for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections to be held on April 10.

Chief electoral officer (CEO), Haryana, Shrikant Walgad said Dushyant and Naina Singh, wife of Ajay Chautala, filed their nominations as INLD candidates for the Hisar Lok Sabha constituency.

Dushyant was accompanied by Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal, INLD leader Abhay Chautala and other INLD leaders, including state president Ashok Arora. After filing the nomination papers, Dushyant addressed a rally at old government college ground, which was also addressed by Sukhbir Badal and Abhay Chautala.

Meanwhile, Virender Verma, a BSP candidate, filed his papers for the Karnal Lok Sabha constituency. For the Kurukshetra constituency, Balbir Singh Saini, INLD candidate, and Chunni Manoj Kumar, an independent, filed their nominations
