According to the area people, some people near Rawat ice-cream shop gathered with laptops and printers and started the process of creating Aadhar Cards by charging Rs 250 for each.
Secretary, council of RTI activists, Ludhiana, Arvind Sharma said, "They charged Rs 250 from me and did not issue any Aadhar Card. When approached DFSC officials reached at the spot, but the miscreants had already left the area."
"These services are provided by government without any charge, but there are bad elements in society who mislead the common man. The DFSC and administration must ensure strict action against these miscreants at the earliest."
