The high court had handed over the probe earlier this month to the CBI. The FIR was registered against one Kulbir Singh and some other persons on March 24, 2014, for cheating, and under the food safety and standards Act-2006, after the seizure of two milk tankers allegedly owned by Kulbir.
Kulbir Singh alleged that he was booked at the behest of the minister and his son to “pressure” him to withdraw a petition he had filed challenging the elections of a cooperative bank society.
