The police have booked five persons for allegedly misbehaving and assaulting a woman on Sunday.
The accused were identified as Rajesh Soni alias Ricky, resident of Kot Harnam Das; Amrik Chohan, resident of Sheran Wala Gate; Vinay, resident of Hakima Wala; Jaskaran Singh, resident of Batala Road; and Gurpreet Singh alias Bablu, resident of Sultanwind Road.
The complainant alleged that around 8:40pm on November 10, the accused stopped her near the parking of Alpha One mall, misbehaved and assaulted her.
ASI Surjit Singh of Maqboolpura police station said the accused had been booked under Sections 341, 354 and 506, IPC.
