All flights resumed operations at the city airport on Friday after fog forced them to remain grounded for three days, disrupting travel plans of thousands of passengers.

The authorities concerned said the flights were resumed after weather conditions permitted the same.

According to the airport authorities, the weather is expected to remain favourable for a couple of days for flights to remain operational.

Meanwhile, barring a few trains, many ran as per schedule.

The railway station authorities here in the city said most of the trains were running as per schedule with a delay not exceeding 15 to 20 minutes.

However, two of the trains - Unchahar Express and Sadbhavna Express - continued to run late. While Unchahar Express ran late by around 14 hours, Sadbhavana Express reached station at 5pm against its schedule arrival time of 10am.

The weather prediction suggests that weather will remain favourable for both air as well as rail traffic for a few days.
