Fourth swine flu death reported in district

A 65-old-year patient suffering from swine flu died at Rajindra hospital, here on Thursday. The deceased, Pala Singh, a resident of Mehmadpur village from Fatehgarh Sahib had been undergoing treatment in the city for last few days.

With his death, the toll from swine flu in the district reached four. Dr Gurmeet Singh, district epidemiologist, said they had wrapped the body in polythene before handing it over to the family as per the guidelines of the state health department.
