Govt to inquire violations of Section 118: minister

Health and revenue minister Kaul Singh Thakur on Tuesday said the government would also inquire matter over allotment of land to landless people that was further sold. Interacting with mediapersons at Dadahu hospital, he said during the previous regime of the BJP government, lands of landless people were sold in high numbers.

Health and revenue minister Kaul Singh Thakur on Tuesday said the government would also inquire matter over allotment of land to landless people that was further sold.

Interacting with mediapersons at Dadahu hospital, he said during the previous regime of the BJP government, lands of landless people were sold in high numbers.

He added that several cases of violation of Section 118 had been reported.

He added that there was a clear violation in the construction of the hotel by the HPCA, thus the government is investigating into the matter.

The minister said it had come into the notice that the hostels and buildings were constructed on the lands of landless people of the state during the previous government regime.

He said 2 biswas would be allotted to landless people and the matter would be put in the cabinet soon.

He also announced that the appointment of staff nurses and paramedical staff in primary health centres would be ensured.

The minister said a modern mortuary at a cost of `34 lakh was proposed to be constructed in the district and also directed the health authorities on proper use of funds collected in Rogi Kalyan Samitis in the district.
