Responding to mediapersons' queries, Khattar said the decision to revise the date of the budget session had been taken keeping in view the festival of Holi, which falls on March 5.

He said that during the budget session, several decisions would be taken to make people self-reliant. The budget would be in the interest of common man with special focus on rural development, he added.

Asked to comment on the decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, pertaining to the art and craft teachers appointed during the previous Congress government in the state, Khattar said that action would be taken in this regard after going through the decision of the court.
