Haryana releases DA, DR instalment

The Haryana government on Tuesday released another instalment of dearness allowance (DA) to the state government employees and dearness relief (DR) to the state government pensioners with effect from July 1.

The Haryana government on Tuesday released another instalment of dearness allowance (DA) to the state government employees and dearness relief (DR) to the state government pensioners with effect from July 1.

Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the employees now would get 107% of basic pay as DA, an increase of 7%. The pensioners and family pensioners will get 107% of
the pension as DR, which also is 7% increase.

The arrears of the increased DA will be given away in cash, which will cost the state exchequer `465.94 crore a year.
