Minister for women and child development Kavita Jain on Monday said Bhupinder Singh Hooda worked more as a property dealer than as a chief minister of the state.
“He remained busy in arranging prime land for All India Congress Committee president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra and himself during the Congress rule in Haryana. He left the state coffers empty and there is a huge deficit of about `83,000 crore,” Jain said while talking to mediapersons.
“Our government would bring funds from the Centre under a special package and fulfil all the promises made to the people before the assembly election,” she added.
The minister said, “We are committed to promises made in our manifesto and have started working on them. We shall also probe DLF land deals for which Hooda took keen interest. We shall ensure equal development of all areas irrespective of caste or community.”
Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar is a man of integrity and strong will and the state would witness record progress under his leadership, she added.
