Inmate attacked in Bathinda jail

Inmate Jaskaran Singh, a resident of Sirsa of Haryana, undergoing 10-year imprisonment in a drug supply case, alleged that he was beaten up by another inmate Laddi and his associates on Sunday morning. However, he was admitted to the hospital a day after the incident.

Meanwhile, jail authorities have written to the Civil Lines police station to register a case against the inmates who attacked Jaskaran.
