Insects found in steam corns served by food vendor
Small insects were found in the steam corns served by a vendor at Vassal Tower outside the consumer retail department, Easyday. A health deaprtment has detained the vendor and the samples have been for testing. Food safety inspector Dr Harjotpal Singh said that the the vendor was not maintaining hygiene. "Samples have been collected from the spot and the vendor has been taken into custody as he didn't has his own photo identity card with him," he said.
