Sikh activists held a protest march and submitted a memorandum to Karnal deputy commissioner.

Khalsa is on hunger strike since November 14 and is surviving only on water.

Paramjit Singh Pannu, a social activist from Karnal, said demand of Khalsa was legitimate and the President should intervene in releasing the Sikhs from different jails.

"It is a question of human rights and we ensure full support to Khalsa in his fight for justice," said Pannu after the protest march.
