Khattar announces Rs 70 cr projects for Bhiwani

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday announced projects worth `70 crore for Bhiwani district. Of the amount, `10 crore will be spend on the renovation and construction of city roads and the rest on rural roads.

Redressing public grievances at Bhiwani, Khattar said the state government would identify the land for Bansi Lal University and provide the institution with all required facilities. “We will build a medical college in the district to cover the nearby areas as well,” he added.

The chief minister said there would be another government senior secondary school for girls, besides a government college for girls in Badhada in addition to a bypass and a municipal park on the Dadri road. He said the government would not acquire the cremation ground land falling in the Dadri city new sector plan, in keeping with the wishes of the people of Dadri.
