Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said ensuring the provision of clean and efficient governance would be the top priority of his government.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Khattar said the state residents would now get the registered property sale deeds at their doorstep within a stipulated time after they deposit the requisite documents and stamp duty.

“We are working on the establishment of such a system and it should be operational within a month or so,” Khattar said.

Family interrupts CM’s cavalcade

A family from a Khokhrakot-based colony attempted to stop chief minister ML Khattar’s cavalcade on Sunday to bring alleged police inaction in a property row to his notice. However, they were pushed aside by the security ring outside canal rest house.

Later, talking to mediapersons, the family members said some “goons” had attacked them a week ago over a property row and despite lodging a complaint at police station, no action was taken.
