MP Kirron’s father passes away, cremation on Wednesday

Colonel Thakar Singh (retd), father of member Parliament Kirron Kher, passed away after brief illness in Chandigarh on Tuesday.

Local MP Kirron Kher’s father Colonel Thakar Singh passed away on Tuesday morning at his residence in Sector 8 due to prolonged illness. He was 103.

He will be cremated on Wednesday at 2:30pm at Sector-25 cremation ground.

Colonel Singh had retired from army service corps (ASC) in the year 1968.

Family members informed that Bhog and antim ardas will be held on November 12 at Sector-8 gurdwara from 12noon-1 pm.
