Live surgeries performed on last day of dental workshop

A two-day workshop on ‘dental implantology’ concluded with two live surgeries performed by Dr RC Hertel, an implantologist from the Netherlands, at Dr Vivek Saggar’s Dental Care and Cure Centre on Monday. The operations were assisted by Dr Vivek Saggar.

The workshop, held in association with International Institute of Stomatognathic Studies, saw participation of over 70 dentists from Punjab.

Resource person Dr RC Hertel said, “It was a wonderful experience conducting workshop here as all dental experts were already equipped with the basics. India has abundant talent, which needs some practical experience and training.”

Dr Vivek Saggar said, “I am happy that my efforts have borne fruit as all 70 participants were very satisfied with the fine details learnt during the meet.”
