LMA holds lecture on business transformation

Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) held a lecture on the topic, “Business Transformation for Survival and Growth: Managing an Ever Changing Business Environment”. Rajat Jain, managing director, XEROX India Ltd was invited to deliver the lecture on Wednesday.

Mr Jain emphasised on the need to first understand VUCA environment in order to develop the survival and growth strategies. According to him, VUCA stands for volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment. He advised the members of LMA to embrace “Change Management” in their respective organisations to take the best advantage of the present environment where survival is not guaranteed.

“The next decade is likely to be full of opportunities for the Indian businesses provided we train ourselves to take the best advantage of the same. As a leader, we have to ensure that we are successful at management, create a sense of urgency, define the targets and create alignment with employees to communicate effectively.”

Association’s president, Sachit Jain urged the members to create ability to sense the opportunity in this turbulent time.
