The country may be gripped by the panic to consume Maggi but the mouth-watering noodles still remain a preferred food choice for people in many tourist destinations.

Tourists can be seen ordering a plate of Maggi at popular hill stations while the vendors can be seen making it openly without any fear of the administration.

"The tourists demand and we provide them," claimed a vendor in Keylong who wish not to be quoted.

"Here on high altitudes, we sell eggs, breads, tea to the tourists and Maggi is the only vegetarian food which we can provide them," he added.

"We cook many pouches of Maggi here which we get from different places in Mandi district," he claimed.

"My wife has a great fascination for Maggi noodles so I cannot refuse her here where we have come for our honeymoon trip," said Vishal Arora a tourist at Rohtang Pass.

Shivam Gulati another tourist from Pathankot who has just returned from Kempty Fall in Mussorie claimed that he saw many counters selling Maggi noodles at the popular tourist spot.
