The division number 1 police on Friday registered a case against a man for posting derogatory comments on a social networking site here. The case was registered on the complaint of Vijay Danav, chief organiser of Bharti Valmiki Dharam Samaj.

The case was registered on the complaint of Vijay Danav, chief organiser of Bharti Valmiki Dharam Samaj. Danav alleged that the accused, Suresh Kumar, who is a Hindi tutor, posted objectionable comments over religion on facebook, a social networking site.

Inspector, Surinder Mohan, SHO at the division number 1 police station said that a case in this context has been registered, for which help from the information technology wing of the police is also being taken to trace the whereabouts of the accused.
