Man booked for supplying drugs to jailed father
The police booked a man for allegedly supplying drugs to his father in the Bathinda central jail.The accused has been identified as Ranjit Singh, a resident of Partap Nagar, who was booked under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for trying to supply intoxicant powder to his jailed father Anil Kumar in June, last year.

The police booked a man for allegedly supplying drugs to his father in the Bathinda central jail.
The accused has been identified as Ranjit Singh, a resident of Partap Nagar, who was booked under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act for trying to supply intoxicant powder to his jailed father Anil Kumar in June, last year.
The accused went to meet his father, who is also sentenced under the NDPS Act, to supply drugs and was discovered by jail staff for possessing the banned substance.
The case has been registered at Canal Colony police station after a year following the examination of the powder, establishing that it was a banned substance.
