Man breaks into house, molests neighbour in Haryana’s Morni
The woman alleged that Sohan entered her room around 10pm while she was asleep and molested her. When she raised the alarm, he fled the scene.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested for molesting a woman in his neighbourhood at Dadyo village in Haryana’s Morni on Tuesday night.
The accused has been identified as Sohan Lal. He was arrested on Thursday and was produced before a local court that sent him to judicial custody.
Mother of three, the 35-year-old woman, told the police that she lives with her children, while her husband, a farmer, lives and works in Mullanpur, Punjab.
She alleged that Sohan entered her room around 10pm while she was asleep and molested her. When she raised the alarm, he fled the scene.

The next day, he blocked her way in the village and threatened to come to her house again. He even threatened to kill her children if she disclosed this to anyone, the woman alleged.
The victim said she shared Sohan’s threats with her brother-in-law, following which they lodged a complaint.
A case under Sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrongful restraint) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered.
