Panchkula: 4 youths booked for setting fire at Morni protected forest

Forest guard Sanjeev Kumar, who was patrolling the area, noticed the group. When he attempted to stop them and warn them of their actions, the youths allegedly manhandled him, misbehaved, and fled the spot with their vehicle. The forest guard was also reportedly threatened with dire consequences.

Toddler drowns in hotel swimming pool in Morni

As per police, the toddler’s parents are Nepalese citizens and work at Wind Farm Hotel. They had been staying there for the past four months and worked as a cook and sweeper at the hotel in Morni where the boy died.

Ambala woman, male friend end life at Morni guest house in ‘suicide pact’

The woman, who was married and missing from her Ambala home since March 18, was found dead in a Morni guest house on Tuesday night, while her male friend died later at PGIMER, Chandigarh, on Wednesday

2019 case: Wife, aide acquitted of labourer’s murder

The court of district and sessions judge Ved Parkash Sirohi, while acquitting Shama Parveen a resident of Naraingarh, Ambala, and Jaswinder Singh alias Pata of Khatoli village of Barwala, Panchkula, said, “The prosecution has miserably failed to prove its case against the accused beyond reasonable doubt”
