Man held for kidnapping, sodomising minor

Police have also arrested the accused identified as Suresh Verma of Gari Tarkhana village and recovered the victim, who was sodomised by the accused, as confirmed by the medical report.
Inspector Manjinder Singh, station house officer (SHO), Machhiwara police station, said that the family members from Machhiwara had approached police and filed a complaint.
According to the father of the victim, his minor son was playing in the street after coming from the school, after which, he had gone missing. The SHO said that following a tip-off, police raided a house at Gari Tarkhana village on Tuesday and recovered the minor.
