Deputy commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said kin of the six deceased — Ashok Kumar, Barkha Rani, Harpal Palli, Saurab Singla, Ripandeep Singh and Japsimran Singh — have been given ₹5 lakh each.
The injured have been given ₹50,000 each, he added.
Thori said following the directions of the Election Commission, Maur sub-divisional magistrate Latif Ahmed distributed the relief money in the presence of government officials.
“No political leader was involved in distribution of the relief money ,” he said.
