Maximum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana today hovered few notches below normal following rains during the past two days.

Maximum temperatures across Punjab and Haryana today hovered few notches below normal following rains during the past two days.

Chandigarh recorded a maximum temperature of 36.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, the MeT Department said here.

Ambala in Haryana recorded a maximum temperature of 36.2 degrees Celsius, down two notches while Hisar’s maximum temperature settled a notch below normal at 40.6 degree Celsius.

Amritsar in Punjab recorded a maximum temperature of 36.4 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal.

Ludhiana recorded a high of 38.4 degrees Celsius, down one degree while Patiala’s maximum settled at 38.1 degrees Celsius.
