Some unidentified persons broke into the building of Government Primary School in Nasser Ke and decamped with five quintals of wheat and 6.5 quintals of rice on late Monday night.

The complainant, Sheel Kumar, a teacher, said some residents of the village informed him on Tuesday morning that the back wall of the school was broken. He rushed to the spot and found that the entire mid-day meal ration was stolen from there.

A case under Section 457, 380 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered at Ghiana Ke Banger police station.

Last year, mid-day meal ration, LPG cylinders and utensils were also stolen by miscreants at the school.
