In the first electoral campaign of its kind, Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial pick Narendra Modi on Friday addressed integrated poll meetings at more than 100 locations simultaneously by way of 3D holographic projection technology between 6pm and 8 pm.

Addressing the meetings, Modi said: “Lotus in your minds and hearts must reach your fingers on the polling day and I hope together we’ll change the future of this country.”

Without naming the Congress, Modi said they were still using their age-old tricks of divide and rule, and communal politics to garner votes, but nation had moved over it and the people of this country were not going to vote on that.
