PSPCL superintendent engineer (sales), in an official communication to all concerned, said that the decision has been taken in order to avoid any delay in shifting of lines and poles even after the requisite charges have been deposited by the applicant due to shortage of manpower with the Powercom.

"It has been decided (that) shifting of lines, poles and transformers from national highways and state highways (would be done) at the applicant's own level under the supervision of Powercom, subject to conditions," the communication said.
