Next hearing in defamation case against Kejriwal on Nov 1

The court of additional chief judicial magistrate Ravi Inder Kaur fixed November 1 as the next date of hearing in the defamation case filed by revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia against Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and two other leaders, Sanjay Singh and Ashish Khetan.

The AAP leaders had sought exemption from personal appearance on Saturday citing busy schedule. The court granted the exemption.

Majithia had filed the defamation suit under the criminal offences against the AAP leaders on May 20, accusing the AAP leaders of tarnishing his family’s image through false and malicious allegations.
