One held with liquor, drugs

The Batala police claimed to have arrested a liquor smuggler and recovered illicit liquor, drugs and injections from him. CIA in-charge Parkash Singh said after getting a tip-off, a police team laid a naka near Gillanwali village and recovered 90000 ml liquor, 480 gm narcotic powder and 20 injections from Sunny Masih.

The Batala police claimed to have arrested a liquor smuggler and recovered illicit liquor, drugs and injections from him. CIA in-charge Parkash Singh said after getting a tip-off, a police team laid a naka near Gillanwali village and recovered 90000 ml liquor, 480 gm narcotic powder and 20 injections from Sunny Masih.

The accused was arrested. A case under the Excise Act and NDPS Act has been registered in this connection.
