Punjabi folk singer Singer and lyricist Paramjit Singh Sidhu, better known as Pammi Bai, is set to release his new solo track, ‘Heer Saleti’, along with singer Kudrat Kaur.

Kudrat, a research scholar in music from Punjabi University, Patiala, will be making her debut in the music industry with this duet.

Otherwise known for releasing a traditional song every two months, Pammi Bai has this time added a novel twist in his latest number.

To reach out to youngsters today, he has come up with a disco-inspired track, a blend of tradition and the modern, with fast-paced beats while sustaining the essence of his folk music.

“I aim to take Punjabi folk music to discotheques across the country. The song will provide an instant kick to the youngsters as it’s a foot tapping number,” he says.
