Panjab University (PU) on Monday issued directions to close the gate no 1 and 3 from morning till afternoon on the occasion of Valentine’s Day, due to security issues.

As per the directions, the entry to the Panjab University (PU) Campus shall be regulated through gate no. 2 (opposite Sector-15) and gate no. 1 and 3 will remain closed from 9.30 am to 3 pm on Valentine Day. (HT Photo)

The students and teaching/non-teaching staff have been asked to carry along with them their identity cards for verification with a view to avoid any inconvenience to them on this account.
