Pbi varsity appoints Gill as dean of arts

Punjabi University has appointed Rajinder Singh Gill as dean, faculty of arts and culture. Gill is not only a renowned vocalist but also works actively for preserving the folk heritage of Punjab. He served as head of the department of music from 2009-12. He is general secretary of Punjab Heritage Foundation, USA. He has a PhD and 16 MPhils to his credit.
