Pruthi Hospital to train students for emergency preparedness

The BBC Heartcare, Pruthi Hospital has launched a basic life support (BLS) programme here to create awareness amongst students' community about emergency preparedness.

The BBC Heartcare, Pruthi Hospital has launched a basic life support (BLS) programme here to create awareness amongst students' community about emergency preparedness.

Managing director of BBC Heartcare, Pruthi Hospital Dr CS Pruthi said, "Our aim is to make students understand the concept of emergency preparedness as it takes atleast 20-30 minutes for ambulance to reach patient's residence. So teaching the students about cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) will enable them to provide preliminary care and save human lives".

He added that keeping in view the social initiatives and health promotion drives into consideration; they have been training various school and college students.
