Continuing its efforts for eradication of polio, Health Department is holding a pulse polio campaign especially for families migrated here. This migratory pulse polio round would be held from September 15-17.

Barnala district has a migratory population of 33,791 living in 6,531 houses.

Civil Surgeon Dr Renu told that 28 regular and 11 mobile teams have been constituted to administer polio drops to 5,372 children of 0-5 age group of these migrated families.
