The first cabinet meet of the new government had adopted the Congress manifesto as its work programme and in order to meet the expenses decided to recall the unutilised funds, amounting to thousands of crores of rupees, which had been granted by the previous government to various departments in the run-up to the polls .
Sukhbir, who was addressing a rally here on Bhagat Singh’s martyrdom day, alleged all development works started by the Akali government had been halted after the Congress took over the reins of the state. “My party workers are being implicated in false cases, which points to vendetta politics started by the Congress... It will be exposed in next six months,” he said.
He said CM Amarinder Singh had deceived farmers by getting debt waiver forms filled before the elections and now meeting the PM for getting loan waiver.
