Relief in sight as Chandigarh set to get rain by Wednesday evening
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Chandigarh, has predicted rains in the next 12 hours in the city.
“Due to western disturbances, there will be thundershower activity in the city in the next 12 hours,” said IMD director Surender Paul.
For the past 10 days, the day temperature has been around the normal due to continuous arrivals of western disturbances.
The maximum temperature in the city on Wednesday is expected to remain around 36 degrees Celsius while the night temperature would be 23 degrees Celsius.
The weather department has predicted cloudy weather for Thursday.
