The residents are demanding installation of street lights on the half kilometer long road that leads to the temple.

“Many devotees visit the temple every Saturday but due to lack of proper lighting system, accidents take place during the night. We are demanding to install sodium or mercury lamps so that people don't face any trouble,” said Raj Kumar Jain, a devotee.

Dr Satish Thaman, member, district Ludhiana west sub-division, Grievance Redressal Committee, said, “The devotees had discussed their demand with me. Now, I have written a letter to the minister of local bodies Punjab to look into the matter and issue necessary guidelines to the authority concerned. I hope the lights will be installed soon.”
