He said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), who is in alliance with the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in the state government, has kept mum regarding the current situation in Punjab as it is enjoying plum positions in different ministries.

“The BJP leaders are equally responsible like SAD. Akalis are spreading wrong rumors that Congress party is behind radicals and present situation of Punjab,”he said, adding that the SAD-BJP government has also “failed”to protect the life and property of people.
