Seven booked for attempt to murder

The district police have booked seven people on attempt to murder charge after they allegedly attacked four people on Monday.

Major Singh, a resident of a village under Nathana police station, alleged that the two brothers Rajbir Singh and Sukhbir Singh, another brother duo Hardip Singh and Harjivan Singh along with Deepa, Harbjhajan Singh and Jeet Singh attacked him and his three other friends in the village with sharp-edged weapons injuring them seriously.

Based on the complaint, the police have booked all the accused under Section 307 of IPC and were inquiring into the matter.
