Seven more test positive for dengue

A total of seven patients were tested positive of dengue in the city on Monday. Of these four patients are from Ludhiana and one each from Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Fardikot.

A total of seven patients were tested positive of dengue in the city on Monday. Of these four patients are from Ludhiana and one each from Sangrur, Hoshiarpur and Fardikot.

A 40-year-old man from Mahavir Jain Colony, a 18-year-old girl from Iqbal Nagar, 27-year-old man from Tibba Road and eight-year-old boy from Tajpur Road of Ludhiana were confirmed of dengue and are admitted at Christian Medical College and Hospital.

A 46-year-old man from Sangrur, a 20-year-old boy from Hoshiarpur and 59-year-old man from Faridkot, who were tested positive of dengue, are undergoing treatment at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital.

Now, the total number of dengue patients has reached to 182 in city hospitals, out of which 135 patients belong to Ludhiana, 41 belonged to other districts of Punjab and six are from other states.
