SGPC executive to meet at Chandigarh today

A release issued from the SGPC headquarters here on Thursday said that the meeting will take stock of the decision of the Haryana government to form the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhik Committee (HSGPC). SGPC chief Avtar Singh Makkar will preside over the meeting.

For paving the way for the formation of the HSGPC, the Haryana government is scheduled to bring a bill in the state assembly during its monsoon session commencing on Friday.
