Social media banned in Fatehgarh Sahib administrative offices

Implementing the state government's orders, deputy commissioner Kamaldeep Singh Sangha directed the district's officials to not use social media platforms such as Facebook and Whatsapp during office hours.

Implementing the state government's orders, deputy commissioner Kamaldeep Singh Sangha directed the district's officials to not use social media platforms such as Facebook and Whatsapp during office hours.

DC Sangha said, "It interrupts work which further delays public work. Action will be initiated against those who fail to follow the order."

He also directed administration officials to not fix red or blue beacon lights on their private cars.

According to a Supreme Court order, officials are not authorised to fix beacon lights on their private vehicles.
