The naked bodies of a young girl and a boy were found in steel boxes from Tau Devi Lal Park on GT road near Murthal on Monday
The police could not get any clue from the finger impressions of the deceased as the Unique Identification Authority of India's Delhi office have failed to provide information about the victims.

Talking to Hindustan Times, Murthal police station incharge Parveen Kumar said, "The bodies of the unidentified victims have been cremated on Thursday at Sonepat".

He said the Sonepat police have formed five more teams taking the total number to 13 to fan out in different directions to ascertain the identity of the victims.

"Police teams are already working in Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The new teams have been formed to visit Punjab and Chandigarh", he added.

When asked about the latest update in the probe, he said, "There has been no breakthrough as yet. Now, we are also taking the help of the electronic and print media to reach the family members of the deceased".
