The EC-Council has given prizes to two students of Thapar University, Patiala, who have ranked top positions in Code - Uncode (nationwide secure programming competition) held here on March 24.

Conducted the under aegis of the EC - council, a world leader in cyber security certification, it was the first-ever Code-Uncode competition organised in India. As many as 10,000 engineering students of 100 colleges all over the country participated in the largest talent hunt organized in the country.
Rishabh Arora won the first position and was presented a cash award of Rs 1lakh. Akshay Mehra, ranked as the first runner- up, was given ` 50,000 by the EC council at the felicitation ceremony held on the Thapar University campus.
