Thieves decamped with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh from a locked house in Ajit Avenue locality in Kapurthala. A report in this regard was lodged at local police station today.

Thieves decamped with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh from a locked house in Ajit Avenue locality in Kapurthala. A report in this regard was lodged at local police station today.
Kulbir Singh, a resident of 124, Ajit Avenue, was away to Shimla with his family members. He was informed by his neighbours that locks of the main gate of his house was open.
"Today, when I returned , I found my Splendor motorcycle, an LCD television and other valuables missing from home. Thieves decamped with valuables worth Rs 2 lakh," he revealed. Police have registered a case.
