Woman beaten to death by husband, brother-in-law
A 45-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband and brother-in-law on Saturday night in Alipur village of Amargarh subdivision of the district.

A 45-year-old woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband and brother-in-law on Saturday night in Alipur village of Amargarh subdivision of the district.
Amargarh police station incharge Daljit Singh said the brother of the deceased, identified as Parmjeet Kaur, Amreek Singh lodged a complaint against Parmjeet's husband Bahadur Singh and brother-in-law Jasvir Singh.
The police said Parmjeet's husband suspected her of an illicit relationship and along with his brother, beat her to death on Saturday night.
The police registered a case against the accused under sections 302 (punishment for murder) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and have formed a team to nab the accused.
