Actor Mohanlal's stint with magic

Mohanlal will perform the daredevil stunt "Burning Illusion" a part of Vismayan 2008, a programme where magicians from all over the world will participate.

Superstar Mohanlal will perform a daredevil stunt in Thiruvanathapuram on April 27.

"This is being held as part of the curtain raiser programme for the Vismayam 2008, a programme where close to a thousand magicians from all over the world will take part from May 1 to 4," Tourism Secretary V Venu told reporters Friday.

Mohanlal will perform the daredevil stunt "Burning Illusion". His debut open-air escape stunt will be held at the Chandrasekharan Nair stadium here.

"Counted as one of the most dangerous acts, the 'Burning Illusion' will find Mohanlal inspiring the youth to overcome debacles in life with sheer determination. He has been practising for a while to perfect it," said Gopinath Muthukadu, a magician.

The event is jointly organised by the Kerala Police and the Kerala State Youth Welfare Board.

For nearly three decades Mohanlal has mesmerized his fans on the screen by showing daredevil stunts.
