Akshara Gowda will play an actor in Sundeep’s Mayavan

Actor Akshara Gowda will soon be seen as an ‘actor’ in Sundeep Kishan’s Mayavan, in what is described as a brief appearance.

Actor Akshara Gowda will play an actor in Sundeep Kishan’s Tamil/Telugu bilingual sci-fi thriller Mayavan, directed by CV Kumar. She last appeared in Arrambam starring alongside Ajith, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu, where she had a small part.

“Although it’s a cameo, Akshara plays an actress of superstar status in the film. It’s an interesting role and her look is going to be very appealing,” said a source on Thursday.

Having already shot for two days, she needs to shoot for one more day to complete her portion. Also starring Lavanya Tripathi, the film is currently on the floors.

Sundeep plays a short-tempered, realistic police officer in Mayavan, which is slated for release later in 2016.
